Nanee's Review of Finding Hope by Stacy Finz -

The small mountain town of Nugget, California, is way off the beaten path. But somehow it helps the lost and lonely find a new beginning in life—and in love…

One solitary day at a time is the only way cookbook writer Emily Mathews can restart her life—and cope with consuming loss. Still, the former city girl is finding all kinds of odd inspiration and advice from Nugget's proudly eccentric residents on everything from new recipes to opening her heart again. Especially when it comes to her rugged rancher landlord …

His no-drama new tenant is the first break Clay McCreedy has had in a long time. He's got his hands full enough dealing with his wife's scandalous death and his sons' unresolved grief. Clay can't help but be drawn to Emily's quiet understanding and strength. When their fragile trust turns into passionate healing, he longs for much more. And when both their pasts come calling, he’s determined not to walk away…

Nanee's Review:

This is the first book I have read by this author and in this series but I will definitely go back and read book 1. This book from start to finish had your emotions in turmoil. I felt for Emily from page one and wanted to be a friend to her, she went through so much and now keeps her heart guarded from hurt. Clay is a sexy as hell Rancher (love Ranching and Cowboy stories) and a single dad with his hands full. Love their friendship that grew from the beginning but wanted to slap Clay at times for his eyes popping out of his head with all the flashy ladies in town and not see Emily right in front of him. Love their opening up to each other and being there for each other... love their hot sex too, love how Clay reacts when Emily needs a change. Love the recipes and the Bakers dozen crew too. Love Rhys ( so freakin nice and sweet) and Griffin what a freakin hotty (I cannot wait for his story, he better get his HEA with you know who) I felt for Justin I knew he was acting out because of his mom and what a turn around he made. Love Cody the cutest most adorable kid. The characters are great, the story  fantastic and the writing terrific, sexy too. Great story from start to finish, cannot wait for the next one. I want to say more but don't want to ruin anything..5 stars
