Nanee's Review of Wolf At Her Door and the Prequel The Highlander's Mate by Liliana Rhodes

The Highlander's Mate the Prequel to the Wolf At Her Door

Wow! Great start in the lives of Bran and Ainsley. I thought the storytelling was intriguing and written so creatively. Not a typical shifter story it has more depth and very fascinating. I thought Bran was sexy and sweet.

Wolf At Her Door

We can feel that other part of us calling to make us whole. That is what I call the one love.
From New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Liliana Rhodes

Centuries ago Clan MacCulloch was cursed to immortality and unhappiness, but Callen MacCulloch doesn't care. After first meeting his one love in 17th century Salem, Callen has spent lifetimes searching for her.

But Heather isn't an immortal wolf shifter like Callen is, she's human. Whenever Heather is reborn Callen searches the world to find her and make her fall in love with him again.

This time he has followed his heart to Leeds Point, but things are different. With his parents Bran and Ainsley finally together, an evil awakens deep within a Scottish loch. Can true love finally defeat the MacCulloch curse?

The prequel—The Highlander's Mate—part of the Highland Shifters boxed set, is also included.

Nanee's Review:

This book had me dying to see what happens next, I couldn't put it down. Very intriguing and mysterious. I thought the characters were great, I love Bran and Ainsley finding each other again and their love was just perfect. Callen gets his father but keeps loosing his mate Heather, each time he looses her she comes back but it wears on his heart. I love Heather and Callen together, I thought this twist was perfect, what we learn about Heather. Gracelin I felt for her loosing her love and being bonded to him for eternity but interesting happenings happen later. Interesting ending can't wait to read more in this series. 5 stars
