Nanee's Review of Triple Threat by Regina Kyle - Harlequin

Blurb:

The Playwright: It's emerging playwright Holly Nelson's big break. Broadway. Having survived her traumatic marriage and divorce, Holly is now aiming for success, not love. And any naughty dreams about Nick Damone, the gorgeously dishy star who was her crush back in high school, must remain a fantasy.

The Star: For Nick, Broadway is a chance to go from big-screen eye candy to serious actor, and to explore the lust blazing between him and Holly. But life-threatening accidents will force a chain of events that could bring down the curtain on the whole production, or give Nick and Holly a chance to finish the sexy something that started fifteen years ago!

Nanee's Review:

First I want to say how thrilled I am to have had the opportunity to read and review this book for a fellow CTRWA member. Although I don't go to all the meetings I have to say Regina is a great person who always makes me laugh. She's got a great sense of humor and is a terrific writer.

This book from page one to the end kept me on my toes and loving every minute of it. I absolutely loved the characters especially Nick Damone. He's sexy as hell, a sweet guy and doesn't let fame go to his head. Holly I loved too; she is down to earth, a caring person and has a awesome family but she also lives with terrible memories of her ex husband and a awful divorce. These two together grabbed me from the start, I love their memories of each other, their crush and their hurts that they share. I love how the author added some mystery and intrigue as well with a who-done-it feel. Thought Ethan was a great secondary character. Regina created this romantic, intriguing story that makes you laugh, cry and woop it up. Oh I almost forgot how sexy it is too, these two characters light the sheets on fire...can't wait to read more by this author, she terrific. 5 huge stars

Author Bio:

Regina Kyle knew she was destined to be an author when she won a writing contest at age ten with a touching tale about a squirrel and a nut pie. By day, she writes dry legal briefs, representing thestate in criminal appeals. At night, she writes steamy romance with heart and humor.
A lover of all things theatrical, Regina lives on the Connecticut coast with her husband, teenaged daughter and two melodramatic cats. When she’s not writing, she’s most likely singing, reading, cooking or watching bad reality television. She’s a member of Romance Writers of America and treasurer of her local RWA chapter. Triple Threat is her debut novel. The next book in the Art of Seduction series, Triple Time, will be released in June of 2015.
