Nanee's Review of The Letter (Calendar Men #7) by Mina Carter

Sergeant Rick Week’s career ended in a hail of bullets and the death of a
friend. After months of recuperation, he’s finally able to fulfill a promise he
made to that friend. All he has to do is find a girl and deliver a letter.
Simple. Maybe…

Hattie Jameson lost the man she loved. KIA. A year and a half later, she’s
trying to move on but a letter for a charity calendar shoot addressed to her
late fiance, Billy, rocks her. Not as much as the sexy as hell Scottish soldier
who turns up on her doorstep. The man who was with Billy when he died. She
shouldn’t find him attractive. Not at all…

Meanwhile fate, and Billy himself, have plans to bring the reluctant lovers

Nanee's Review:

This story was on the shorter side but wow! It was enough to hit you in the
heart, make you cry, smile, cheer and hope. I thought the story was well
written, very sweet and loving. I love Rick holy shit he's sexy as hell, love
his Scottish brogue, he's honorable and sweet. Hattie is a amazing women,
loving, strong, sweet and kind. Love the Pitbull too, so damn cute (mine doesn't
let me and hubs cuddle either without being in the the descriptions
throughout the story were well done, I felt part of the story, I really thought it was great.
Surprises throughout too. Great story my favorite by Mina Carter so far. 4.5 stars
