What happens when
the lines of love and friendship are blurred?
a heart shattering secret Elora Gerent collects the fragments of her life, and
returns home in hopes of finding a way to put them all together. What she
didn't expect to find was her sexy playboy neighbor Thane.
Thane has shards
of his own that he's left with to reassemble. Never did he imagine that the
wholesome girl next door would make him even want to try. On the Eve of his
fourth deployment a hope is crushed and they part on bad terms.

If I could choose any moment to instantly vaporize it would
be now. Hell, I’d settle for a teleportation beam to Mars. Maybe right before
death by suffocation, I would be acquainted with the god of war himself, Ares.
Just then, I felt a warm arm circle around my waist and I
was pulled up next to a body carved from a slab of stone. When I turned to
look, it was my neighbor. “Hey baby.” Leaning against me, he set a gallon of
milk into my basket and then kissed me before I could speak. It wasn’t a quick
peck on the lips; no he cradled his hands on either side of my face, pressed
his lips softly against my own, nibbled on my lip and caressed my tongue with
his. Wow! Ask and you shall receive. After a moment, he looked up as if
oblivious to the fact that we were not alone. “Friends of yours?”
The Writing Process
When I have to write anything the most daunting thing is starting with a blank page, of course you can't really start anywhere else, but I would imagine a lot happens before you put 'pen to paper' (so to speak!) when you're writing a book. Can you tell us about your writing process?
- what are your key or critical steps in converting an idea to a finished product?
To be quite honest I just sit down and write. Several friends refer to my style of writing as free writing. Once the character has taken up residence in my brain it just progresses from there. Sometimes I can write out chapters at a time, while other times I go days or even weeks without ever opening my laptop.
- does every idea/concept develop into something? If not, what percentage would you keep?
Most of the time yes, but not always I would say 90% of my ideas don’t change while 10% does, but the 10% usually drives me crazy for several days.
- are there rituals/'must haves' for your writing process?
Yes and no. I only write at night usually between the hours of 11pm and 2am, and my writing time is usually accompanied by a snack and a can of coke. Strangely enough Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are my most inspirational nights of the week to write.
