Blog Tour and Nanee's Review of Racing to Love Book 4 by Amy Gregory

Title:   Alex’s Destiny (Racing to Love #4)

Author:  Amy Gregory
Genre:  Contemporary Romance 18+
Publication Date: November 1, 2013
Event organized by:  Literati Author Services, Inc.

Her destiny was written for her, long before she was ever born.  She embraced it, wanting nothing more than to give everything within her back to the sport in which she was considered royalty.  Her family’s legacy would live on, revered by all.  And she thrived on the long work days she spent teaching at the academy her blood was tied to.  Alexandra Sterling needed that dirt track as much as she needed her next breath.
That same track was the one that drew in a young student years before.  Alex had given her heart away the day they met, knowing that he belonged to only her.   For years she’d waited, knowing without a single doubt that he’d make her his when the time was right.
But…she’d never asked Dallas if he felt the same way.
Her hurt leaves her vulnerable, her days dark and her instincts dulled. After one night of hell, Alex is lost. Her world is crumbling around her, and without her lifeline and best friend beside her anymore, there’s nothing to keep her from sinking with it.
Dallas Hunter is a pro rider on the motocross circuit, following in the footsteps of his father Eli. For Dallas, it’s always been Alex, but he’s kept his feelings locked away out of fear, his love for their family, his biggest obstacle.
One short and chilling phone call to her puts him on high alert. Knowing something is terribly wrong sends him racing across the country, back home, back to her. But what he finds almost kills him.
Now he’s watching her slip away right before his very eyes. Figuring out how to help Alex before it’s too late, might turn out to be harder than any race he’s ever ridden. And he has to do it with his team and sponsors screaming at him from the other side, trying to pull him back to the world he’s dedicated his entire life to.
Dallas knows he has to help his best friend, the woman he loves…and do it without tearing his family apart.

Nanee's Review:

Like the other books in this series you meet the same characters and love them even more. This one is about Alexandra or Alex and Dallas. Back is the love and drama from each story in this series. Alex and Dallas are the best of friends, they both love each other too they meet when they are younger and Dallas is 7 years older than her, he thinks of her as a kid and she adores him. Their heartbreak is something they don't think they'll get over. But when Alex needs Dallas he is there for her. Very touching story about friendship and more. I thought once they finally got into a relationship it would have been more focus on that, it was a little let down in that aspect but when Alex was leaning on Dallas and only Dallas you could feel their connection to each other. Over all a good story 4 stars

About the Author

When asked ‘when do you have time to write’, Amy Gregory simply laughs.  The real answer is, “in bits and pieces”.  She and her husband live in Kansas City with their three fantastic kids that keep them running in three very different directions.  Because she sits so much, she always carries a notebook with her at all times.
She has an off the wall, snarky, off the cuff sense of humor that often shocks even those who’ve known her for years.  And she loves that her children have all been blessed that ability to make others laugh as well.  At least she’s grateful most of the time!  Her husband often teases her about how she “makes this stuff up” when he’s reading a piece of her work. … The answer—“it just comes to me when I’m typing”. Scary thought, huh!

Racing to Love: Carter's Treasure ( Book 1)

Nanee's Review

I enjoyed this book. I thought it was well written and although its about motorcycle racing there was more to it then that, which I thought was great. Carter and Molly's relationship started pretty quickly almost too quickly for me, Carter was a little too strong and confident a little put off-ish for me but then I changed my stance on him because he's caring, sweet and protective of Molly, he wants whats best for her and to protect her and they are in love. Brody Molly's brother is very intense and protective of Molly sometimes too much almost a total jerk but love the banter between them. This story has some mystery, love and intrigue all in one. I thought the story over all was good, look forward to reading the next in this series thought though there were a lot of characters in such a short period of time to remember. But felt it was a feel good story with new love and experiences. 4 stars

Racing to Love: Brody's Love (Book 1.5)

Nanee's Review:

I'm usually not a fan of a novella that falls in the middle of a series, didn't really see the point of having it but I did enjoy it , Erin and Brody story, very cute couple love reading more about them. 3 stars

Racing To Love: Jesse's Soul (Book 2)

Nanee's Review:

Love some Jesse Frost, he's sexy, a racer and a cowboy. He's sweet and a bit shy too. He's a hard working guy that things don't always come easy for. Thought his character was written amazingly. Emery I just felt for her from the beginning. I thought she was sassy and had a temper but also is a hurt soul that hurts run deep, she's unique. I loved them together, they have to work real hard at the relationship but Jesse wants her, although both were hurt in the past they need each other. Emery is just trying to protect herself and Jesse wants to be the man to protect her, I love that book one's character show up and it's nice to see Molly and Carter so happy love all of them together. This book had some real emotional topics touched on and the author did that with strong emotion, wittiness and human but also some sad scenes and some sexy as hell scenes too. Great story can't wait to read the next in this series. 4 stars

Racing to Love: Eli's Honor (Book 3)

Nanee's Review:

I loved Eli Hunter from the very first page, I loved his attitude, his hard work ethic and his joy to be able to walk around. Love  tattoos too (yummy) in the previous books he was a side line character but he takes spotlight in this one. This book was sweet, funny and sexy all in one. Love Eli and Honor, they heal each other, they love each other and they make this a outstanding story to read, emotional and awe. Love the characters from the other books to they are this a family story, one of healing and love. 4 stars
