What happens when the person engineered by God to love you – can’t?
Antonio is the CEO of a multi-million dollar company, but his huge house and sleek car don't matter when it comes to knowing how to love his young daughter. Every time he looks at her, all he can see is the reason his wife is dead. But when the beautiful Rayne falls into his life as his daughter’s nanny he is forced out of his ice cold exterior. He finds himself falling hard for his newest employee, but Rayne doesn't want anything to do with him. It doesn’t matter how handsome or ruggedly perfect his exterior is—how he treats his daughter tears at Rayne’s very soul.
Antonio has to learn how to love his daughter again, while trying to convince the woman he loves to stay with him and not bolt at the first opportunity...
Wow what a emotional roller coaster, this story has it all; heartbreak, giggles, lost lives and new beginnings. Antonio is a tough as nails, meaner than the devil, lonely, sad and miserable human being but when he meets Rayne his outlook changes and he fights hard to be the man he wants to be for her. Rayne has had a hell of a time in life, she's lost a lot, she's barely getting by and just wants to be loved. When they meet tempers flare emotions run high and lust drives them together. I loved their first meeting with Rayne puts him in his place and didn't cower when he blustered and yelled at her, Rayne isn't a push over and doesn't take shit from anybody..Love her, what a strong and resilient women. Little Alessandria is a sweet as pie child who needs to be loved and Antonio doesn't allow that to happen. Antonio falls hard for Rayne and Rayne feels the same but the way he treats his daughter and speaks to others she cant accept. The only complaint is the turn around of Antonio's feelings it happens pretty quickly just thought it was a little too quick but the story was very romantic, a lil sad, loving and very emotional. Highly recommend...4.5 stars
